What dance classes will I take in Los Angeles?
You are given studio apps and dance class passes to explore the full schedule. You, the other dancers, and the dance captain choose classes together — it’s a dance democracy. You plan your weekly schedule as a group but check in daily so you never miss a pop-up class, workshop, or intensive.
Week one you all go together so you can learn the studios and the vibe. The following week you can go as a group or split up based on what you want to take. You might love a choreographer the others haven’t discovered yet. It’s all about communication and making the most of your time in Los Angeles.
Who is the dance captain?
The dance captain is a former program dancer invited back on a scholarship to dance alongside you in Los Angeles. She is not a chaperone or instructor — she is your big sister and team captain. She has been exactly where you are. She dances with you, helps you navigate the studios, and is someone you can actually talk to who gets it. Our program is built on one idea: dancers help dancers. You are not dancing in Los Angeles alone.
Where do dancers live during the program?
